tweetcaster login

I've recently upgraded to a pixel 6 and decided to try and use the Twitter official app but I've found it to be awful. login raport mutu I used to use tweetcaster and tried to sign into it but all it seems to do is kick me onto the playstore webpage to download it Has anyone had this and got a workaround?
